Challenge the evidence, not just the number
A useful correction identifies the exact page, the disputed observation and a stronger source. Submissions are reviewed against the frozen methodology rather than a preferred final score.
What to include
- The full URL of the country or relationship page.
- The component, event, indicator or source that appears incorrect.
- A concise explanation of the proposed correction.
- A primary or authoritative source URL and its publication date.
- Whether the issue affects one direction or both.
What happens next
A correction may update a factual observation, date, source or coverage note. It does not automatically change a score: the corrected evidence must activate an existing frozen rule. A new scoring rule or weight requires a future methodology version and explicit review.
